About the Rocky Mountain Propane Education and Research Council

The Rocky Mountain Propane Education and Research Council represents the propane industry in the states of Idaho, Montana, Utah, and Wyoming. The purpose of RMPERC is to establish and facilitate programs to enhance safety, training, research and development, and safety education in the propane gas industry for the benefit of propane consumers and the public, and for other lawful purposes.

RMPERC is funded primarily by the Propane Education & Research Council through its state rebate program. All projects funded by RMPERC are open to all propane industry members regardless of their membership to the Rocky Mountain Propane Association, National Propane Gas Association, or other membership association.
